Back to school season! Yes, it can impact the real estate market......
We are quickly approaching Back to School season. We’ve done our school supply shopping – have you? Like many things, back to school timing impacts the housing market. We are in a pretty competitive market in Northeast WI, so projections show a strong end to 2024.
However, home sales typically take a dip as the school year begins. This is primarily due to families that prefer to get their children settled in a school or school district and not move them during the school year.
If you are a Buyer, this can be helpful as there can be less competition for the homes on the market. You may have more inventory to choose from and homes may sit on the market for days or weeks longer than they did during the summer.
