Dreaming of beaches, warm weather & sunshine?
It’s about the time of year when we all start dreaming of warmer weather locations – out of state, maybe down South. The short, dark days become gloomy, we don’t see the sun & we start dreaming about beaches, sunshine, and a different place to live.
Likely, your career or family will keep you here in WI, however if you do want to entertain the thought of moving out of state, you’ll want to sell your home here and have a new home to go to right away. The process can be different than moving in-state because real estate markets can be different, real estate laws and processes can be different too.
We recently had a client that moved from WI to NV. When she started planning, she was looking for homes on realtor.com, Zillow, and the general home websites that may not be updated or have accurate information. After we talked, I was able to pair them up with an Agent that specialized in the County where they were moving.
That Agent & I worked together to make sure they found a home to move to, that we listed their home at the perfect time so that they would finish the sale here at the same time they were buying in NV, and then that we handled all of the paperwork for both transactions electronically so that the clients didn’t have to spend a bunch of money traveling back & forth to make things happen.
