A quick market update for Winnebago County, WI for you. The bottom line: we continue to see more of the same with low inventory, higher home prices than in previous years, and higher interest rates. You’ll see that the number of new listings has been down compared to last year at this time. The Days on Market is lower than previous years. We’ve seen a ton of closings within 30-45 days. The median prices are still higher – which is great news for Sellers and for homeowners and their current equity. Ultimately, it’s a great time to sell. There is still competition in the market and values are up. If you are looking to buy, remember that interest rates are not forever. Talk with a reputable Lender about creative ways to get a decent rate for now, then look at refinance options in a few years.
